Please note that ie FIRM has a total of 1500 TEP and FIRM in the AQUA SERENE is 900 TEP That is FIRM in each of their catagories. The performance is not the same by far because you have different totals. The AQUA SERENE will have less support and move around a lot more than the standard 500gr version Dreamlover believes mattresses should have the total marked or TEP

Clipper

Clipper also make soft fibre and egg carton foam combinations which are not covered here. Dreamlover also produced these which are listed in the Dreamlover speciality mattresses.

Clipper has one soft fire type. It is a 520gram ie the weight of the soft fibre is 520g per square metre

Cooroy

Cooroy mattresses are no longer made There are still a few out there.

Although the mattress was very good, the baffles made of light fiber wadding tended to disentergrate.
Floatation was lost as the styrofoam beads were to small to be effective.

Baffles did not float and were ineffective in wave reducing support. When considering a new mattress and you have a C I mattress, check if the baffles float and if they are in tact. If not you have been sleeping on a mattress that behaves close to a standard mattress with no baffles.

There are three different baffle systems some combinations a special request by the retailer adding more combinations. There is a special combination of 475gr and 300gr baffle where the retailer can say it is "made for them" & "only one available" "no one else has them" and others. These statements are true only because they a marginally different to what is available.
